FAQs

What is a Brazilian Wax?

A Brazilian Wax is the removal of all your unwanted hair from the front and the back of your area! We use hard wax at our salon to adhere to the skin without harming it unlike other techniques.

My lady friend visited, can I still come in?

Of course! You just have to wear a tampon and we also advise that it will hurt more than expected or usual because your senses are heightened. You can take a Tylenol before your appointment or reschedule for a better date!

What is Sugaring?

Sugaring is the use of a paste made of sugar, lemon, and water that adheres perfectly to the skin like waxing. It is not chemically based or hot, making it more preferable to those with sensitive skin or wanting to try something new! Depending on your skin, it might actually take longer for your hair to grow back!

What should I do afterwards?

There is not much you need to do afterwards. No exfoliating for two days, and you cannot go to the beach, tan, go into a tanning bed, in a pool, or have sex for 24 hours. This is because your pores are now open and if sweat and grime go into those pores, it could cause infection. If there is numbness, redness, itchiness, or soreness; we advise to put aloe vera on an wait 24 hours. If the problem persists call us and we can advise what to do next.

How long should my hair be?

We always advise the hair to be 1/4ths of an inch long so the wax can grab the skin and remove it effectively. If the hair is too short, nothing will come out, not making your experience the best it can be.

Can I shave the day before?

We say to not shave at least a week before the appointment so your hair has enough time to grow to a length that is able to catch onto the wax. Because of shaving, it also hurts more than usual and the hair will grow back faster, so never shave!!
